I Cannot Sleep

Tomorrow’s stop is Stuttgart, Germany. I am so excited, I cannot sleep. My best friend and I have been touring Europe for 2-weeks now, a much needed break after finishing college. We know that next month we will be back to the real world. Looking for jobs, renting our first apartment and buying sensible shoes will be our top preoccupations but, for now, it’s Stuttgart, and we don’t have a care in the world.

I am a huge art fan, so touring the State Gallery is a must. This seriously is one of the finest art collections in Europe. Tomorrow, I shall tour Memling’s Bathsheba in her Bath, Hals, half-Length Portrait of a Man, Rembrandt’sPaul in Prison and Rubens Old Lady with Child. I am so excited. To a kid from West Philadelphia this is the big time. I cannot believe the history I am about to see. I have admired these artists’ works since I was little and never dreamed of seeing them in person.

What an experience. Even the Stuttgart hotels themselves house art in some of its most beautiful forms. Opulence and grandeur await!

In England and Wales, Key Stage 2 cover four years of curriculum for students. The curriculum adheres to the National standards, students are taught and prepared for the National Curriculum Test they will take at the end of Key Stage 2. Desastres causados ??por inundaciones

¡Que desastre! He estado viviendo en mi nuevo piso en Madrid durante un mes y la semana pasada, hubo una fuga de agua desde el piso de arriba. El agua entro por el techo e inundo mi dormitorio y el salon. ¡Que lio! Mis muebles estaba empapados y destruidos. Tuve que comprar muebles nuevos. He encontrado una nueva camas en Madrid, pero todavia no he encontrado un sofa. El plazo de entrega de un nuevo sofa es de 3 meses. Sera un largo tiempo antes puedo sentarme en mi sala de nuevo.

Afortunadamente mi piso estaba cubierto por el seguro. El fontanero vino de inmediato para reparar la fuga y ya voy a recibir el dinero para cubrir los muebles. Tengo suelo de madera que ha sido danado tambien. El agente de seguros quieren esperar a que el suelo se seque antes de tomar una decision al respecto. Es una lastima por que estaba disfrutando de mi nuevo piso. Por lo menos tengo una buena cama para dormir hasta que todo se solucione.

The last time I flew into London I decided to take a flight that arrived at London Gatwick Airport instead of London Heathrow Airport. If you have ever been to Heathrow Airport then you know that it is one of the largest airports in the world and that many people change planes there before reaching their final destination.
